1st Task:





We often see people of other nationalities through stereotypes. How might this influence our behaviour when we visit a different country?

Write about the problems of stereotyping other people and cultures.

Dreams

I had my first contact with English when I was a little girl. Nobody inspired me! I listened to the radio and I couldn't understand nothing of what singers were singing. But soon I started to understand individual words, especially the ones which appeared in the titles.
My mother bought me a tape recorder (what a strange gadget you may say!!) and day after day, recording one, two,...songs, re-recording again and again, listening to that songs hours and hours I learned them. I sang the songs to myself. Still, I understood very little of the meaning. It became my dream to learn English and one day to be a teacher. Thank's to Madonna and others a just can't remember.

Today, I am delighted and proud because I have made my childhood dream come true!
